1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of backspace.ug and any services you engage from Backspace Business Solutions Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Uganda and based at Nakawa Akamwesi, Kampala. By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using This Website

You may browse and use the public content of this site for your own business or personal information. You must not:

• Attempt to interfere with how the site works or probe its security
• Scrape content at a scale that disrupts the site or other visitors
• Misrepresent your identity when submitting forms

3. Quotes, Assessments and Proposals

Free site assessments, solution recommendations and online estimates on this site are indicative only. They are based on the information available at the time and do not constitute a binding offer. A project becomes a commitment only when both sides agree a written scope, price and schedule. Prices, availability and lead times for equipment can change between a first conversation and a signed order.

4. Engineering Library (Blog)

Articles in the Engineering Library are general information written from field experience. They are not legal, financial, regulatory or vendor-official advice. Product names, pricing and regulations change — always confirm current figures with the relevant vendor, authority or a qualified professional before you act. Engaging us through a form or article does not create a client relationship by itself.

5. Email Subscriptions

When you subscribe to the Engineering Library by email, we use your address (and name, if you give it) to send new articles and occasional relevant updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email with "unsubscribe" or by contacting info@backspace.ug. We do not sell subscriber details. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which also reflects Uganda's data protection obligations.

6. Intellectual Property

The site, its text, diagrams, logos and images belong to Backspace Business Solutions Ltd or its licensors and are protected by Ugandan copyright law. You may share links to our articles; you may not republish full articles, strip attributions or reuse our branding without written permission.
